**Updated cancellation policy for visitors arriving after April 30th 2020.** 4th April 2020 We realise a lot of people have been looking forward to visiting us, and many people have requested a transfer on their booking, so that they still have something to look forward to once things have calmed down. Because of this we are relaxing our policy on transfers, and can now offer transfers until the close of season in November 2021 so that you can keep your holiday booked and still have something to look forward to.
Important announcement - Campsite closure until 30th April 22nd March 2020 Message from the Waterside team: It is with a heavy heart and much soul searching that we have decided to close Waterside Campsite until at least 30th April 2020. The Covid-19 pandemic should be taken seriously and we must take the necessary steps to protect our staff and our customers until we find out what we are dealing with.

Pooley Bridge Replacement Update - February 2020. 3rd February 2020 A brief update on how the replacment bridge project is progressing: Earlier in January, the first sections of steelwork were delivered to Pooley Bridge. There are four sections being delivered overall, with two already at the village. The cranes are in place, and the next steps are to prop the steelwork up and connect them to each other.
Model Seaplanes Return to Waterside for 2020 14th November 2019 The Model Seaplanes will be visiting Waterside again this Summer and flying from the shores of our second field, Hodgson Hill. Pooley Bridge Replacement Update 6th September 2019 For those of you who are visiting us this Autumn and Winter please see the information attached regarding the replacement of Pooley Bridge Summary: W/c Monday 9 September: Pooley Bridge’s temporary road bridge will be removed – a great reason to visit the village and see this happen!! There will be no connection between the two sides of the river for approximately seven days.
