** Notice to all customers regarding tier 3 restrictions on travel **

24th October 2020

This is a notice to all customers who plan on visiting for the remainder of the 2020 season.

We have been following the news closely throughout Covid-19 and have kept up to date on government restrictions for those placed under 'very high' (tier 3) restrictions. The official advice from the government states that "If you are a resident in a very high alert level area, we ask you to avoid staying overnight in another part of the UK, except if you need to for work, education or caring responsibilities." Full government advice on travel can be read here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/local-covid-alert-level-very-high#travel

As such, we have come to the decision that we must sadly ask anybody living in a region currently classified as 'very high' to postpone their visit to Waterside until restrictions are eased.

We have sent emails out to everybody (whether you are in a 'very high' zone or not) laying out instructions on what to do. Even if it doesn't currently affect you, it is worth keeping the email on hand just in case the restrictions for your region change before you visit us. If you have not received this email, please let us know (and check your junk/spam folder!).

Also, we must ask that anybody in a 'very high' area please do not book onto our campsite until restrictions are lifted.

We are sorry that we have to request this, but we firmly believe it is the right thing to do to ensure the health and safety of our country. Fingers crossed that 2021 will be a better and brighter year for everybody.
